Rare creatures

Portraits of creatures that do not, but should, exist.  The images are my own; some are inspired by sculptures I have seen in Florida. I work mainly with acrylic paints and sometimes incorporate a special rusting compound to create the effect of rusting metal.  Some of these are painted on recycled synthetic roof slates, whose dimensions perfectly suit the subject.
